CHAPTER I INTRODUCTION
Conference is an annual event that been held by AIESEC Indonesia four times a year. Each conference has a different purpose. According to the AIESEC Indonesia compendium the conferences are:

1. National Planning Conference
The purpose of the planning conference is to bring down theglobal direction of AIESEC to Indonesian context, build national strategic agendas and actions that will contribute to the development and growth of AIESEC Indonesia and shall be to foster Leadership skills and create an intense learning experience for delegates with but not limited to international exposure, motivation, enhancing self discovery, leadership potential and networking people. Thedelegates of this conference are the current MC and LC Executive Board and the elected MC and LC Executive Board. Hence there are not many delegates participating in this conference. The delegates are only around 100-120 delegates.

2. Management Board Conference
The purpose of Management Board Conference Is to increase the capacity of the leaders to perform better by equipping them withleadership, management, and other skills needed. The delegates who attend this conference are mainly the Executive Board and the Manager Board. The second year members and others TLP such as OCPs and team leaders are also welcome. The delegates who attend this conference are around 180 delegates.

3. Indonesian Youth Leadership Conference
The purpose of National Conference 2 is giving induction for newmembers with the objectives of getting to know about AIESEC, Challenging your Worldview, joining the AIESEC network, and personal goal setting. The delegates who attend this conference are mainly the new members, the VP Talent Management, and the LCPs from all LCs. So it will make IYLC

as the biggest conference in the country with the delegates around 250 delegates.

4. NationalElection Conference
The purpose of election conference is to elect the new national leadership body of AIESEC Indonesia and to leverage the performance of members by empowering them with necessary knowledge and skills, create platform to generate ideas for the long term sustainability of the organization and initiate leadership transition.
