Compare the roles that Elizabeth Proctor and Abigail Williams play in The Crucible

The history starts in Salem, Massachusetts in the spring of 1692. The history talk about
The people of Salemtry to seek and catch the witches of the city .
In this city has a matrimony of John Proctor and Elizabeth Proctor but the Proctors has a
Problems because Elizabeth think that her wife’s has agirlfriend , and Elizabeth think that
This person is Abigail Williams.

John Proctor and Abigail Williams had a affair , while Abigail Williams was worrying for
Elizabeth because Abigail think thather start to think that john her wife’s is your boyfriend.
A lot of people believe that Elizabeth Proctor is a witchcraft and Elizabeth go to the court.
Abigail Williams accused that her has awitchcraft and Elizabeth believes that Abigail
Will “cry her out” because she wants to be John´s wife.
She tells John to break with Abigail. He tells her has already done so, but she doesn’tbelieve him.
Proctor faces the challenge of saving his wife from the court by confronting Abigail with
Decis. He runs the risk of Abigail accusing Proctor of lechery.

Proctor ripped the warrantwhen Elizabeth was arrested .
After all of that Proctor admits that he knows Abigail , by having intimate relations with
her; he admits to the crime of lechery . He tests procto’ sconfession by asking Elizabeth
to say why she let Abigail go. Proctor states that Elizabeth would never lie.
The irony here is that Elizabeth lies to save her husband’s good name ,
She doesn’t knew thathe had confussed.
After that a lot of people acussed John is a witch and in the court , Proctor shouts out “ God
Is dead” and the judge misinterpreted this statement as a confession of witchcraft.3 Months ago John is in the jail so the uncle of Abigail reports have her is disappeared
