Esthela- No I’m workinghere for a few months.
Karla- You’re kidding—so am I. What do you do?
Esthela- I work for the American Central Bank. Pretty boring, huh?
Karla – oh, no. I mean, a job’s a job… But you like London,right?
Esthela- uh, to be honest, I can’t stand it—especially the weather.
Karla- Oh, yeah, the weather’s terrible. But I love London.
Esthela- How long have you been here?
Karla- Oh, not long, afew weeks. How about you.
Esthela- The same, what are you doing here?
Karla- I’m artist, and I was asked to bring over some of my work to a small gallery just near here. I’ve just had my firstexhibit there.
Esthela- Wow, that it’s impressive.
Karla-thanks, so where are you from?
Esthela- I’m from Chihuahua.
Karla- You’re kidding, so am I! Don’t tell me you went to San Marcos High
Esthela-yes I did, but I wasn’t a very good student.
Karla- I wasn’t either. What year did you graduate?
Esthela- oh, 1989
Karla- oh, that’s weir me too. Do you remember Mrs. Gonzalez?
Esthela- oh, themath teacher? Sure. She was horrible!
Karla- she’s my mom

E: its just didn't finish studied until 4 o'clock this morning
K: Oh yeah, Well you'd better  just chill out tonight. doyou want to watch TV, our shoul i get a video?
E: whatever,  
K: Do you know whats on TV tonigh?
E: nope, no idea, probably la que no podia amar as usual
K: Oh, no your in a bad mood. Your notnervous about meeting your boyfriends parents, are you?
E: no....No why i shoul be? my car is on its last legs
