Introduction

The objective of this Cross Curricular Credit is to research further information about NGO´s in order to have an in-depth analysis of the subject. Despite only working in class, we will also be able to visit a dog shelter called “Helpguau” and explore their habitat. Moreover, we will have the great opportunity to attend Mr. Domingo´s conference.

A non-governmental organization (NGO) is any non-profit, voluntarycitizens group, which is organized on a local, national or international level. NGOs, sometimes called civil societies, are organized on community, national and international levels to serve specific social or political purposes, and are cooperative, rather than commercial, in nature.

Getting to know more about this subject will not only inform us about today´s society, meaning natural catastrophes,but it will also show us other aspects of life and help us to understand how important it is to aid others.
We are planning to work together as a team in order to reach our goal.

We hope our work will be able to fulfill your expectations and demonstrate our effort that was put in to it.

1.2 Practical Activities

About 89 per centof MSF’s funding comes from some 5 million private donors. The main donation comes from not only individuals, but also companies and privet foundations. The rest, which is 11 per cent, comes from public institution and the EU and its members. Also from other income.

A couple of practical fund raising strategies our NGO could organize are:
Organizing special events, such as; concerts, dinners,auctions…
Coin collection
Advertisement
Engage local businesses: Write letters to newspapers, banks, etc. about what you are working on and ask for their support.
Social media: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter…


































1.3 Proposal For Outlining Fundraising Ideas For MSF

Introduction
The aim of this proposal is to outline ideas for two fund raising strategies that could bebeneficial for the NGO named Doctors Without Borders: “Médecins Sans Frontières. The recent fund raising method, which has been the same since the far-off days, for their support per cent comes from public ins_¨´




Current Economics
The recent fund raising methods used by MSF, which have been the same since the far-off days, are the basic set of tactics of approaching the donators by lucidlyinforming them a bit more with the website or straightforwardly negotiating with companies, privet foundations or either public institutions.
