help on the internet
one day, 12 years-old Sean Redden logged on the Internet. He went to a popular chat room called Glenshadows Tavern. There weren't any people in the chat room. Just ashe was about to sign off and do something else, he saw the name of someone he'd never seen there before, Susan Hicks. Her brief message was "Would someone help me?
Sean typed back, What's wrong? Amoment later he received this message , "I can't breathe. Help me! I can't feel my left side. I can't get out of my chair".
Oh, man, Sea thought. Pretending to be paralyzed was a bad joke. Then hewondered, What if she really is sick? I've got to help. Hey, mom" he called. There's a kid here who's sick or something".

She couldn't movethat far. Any movement caused the pain to get worse.
Then she realizaed that she might get help on the Internet. BUT how? Taija sometimes practiced her English in GlenshadowsTavern. As the pain got worse, she logged on ussing her web name and began typing her message for help.
I dont think it's a joke, mom Sean said. He looked at Susan's last mesage, and typed, Where areyou? After a long pause, the letters appeared: " Finland". Sean and Sharon couldn't believe it. Not knowing what else to do, Sharon called the local police.
Sharon explained the situation to officerAmy Schmidt. Schmidt told Sharon to try to get the sick girl's phone number.
SEAN asked several times for the girl's number and location. Finally, a message with her number and addres came back....
