My dad, Malver was born in Cuba and raised in Guines, Havana. He works for a company called Milling Bay State in Indian Town. He wakes up every weekfrom Monday to Saturday at 5:30 a.m. and comes home at about 6:00 p.m. That is long time working, so I try helping around the house as much as I can. Thebest time I spend with my dad is on Sunday, because we get to take out the boat and fish in the open sea.

My mom, Idalmis was also born in Cuba butraised in Pueblo-Griffo, Cienfuegos. She is hairstylist and works with her friends in place called Hair By Maria. Unlike my dad she gets to keep her ownschedule so if nobody has made an appointment for that time she could leave. She studies English on Mondays and Wednesdays in the morning. For her jobcommunication is very important to know what the client wants. The best time I spend with mom is also on weekends, when we sit in the sand and talk.My brother, Malver Jr. was also born in Cuba about 6 years after my birth. To me that was the best gift I could ever receive from my parents. I alwayswanted a brother, someone to play with and talk to. My brother is currently in 5th grade and attends to a school called Morning Side, which is about 10minutes away from our house. Although he rides the bus to school my mom has to take him to the bus stop and I have to pick him up. My brothers cansometimes get me really irritating but I can’t ever stay mad at him. I spend the most time with him because his always in my room playing video games.
