My Cohort
My cohort is part of what general psychology calls Generation X. there are many characteristics that identify Generation X from other generations like Baby Boomer orGeneration. Being part of this generation we have had the opportunity to experienced closely, many changes in history, technology, automobile industry, food and ethics.
The transition betweengenerations and the experience that Generation X takes from the Baby Boomers help us every day to understand and correct many bad habits, that for many year people carry on.
I born in1981, I consider my self lucky because I got born between two completely different generations, having the opportunity to take hard work as example of life and combine new high technology touse and make things easy to done it.
The Gen X witnessed one of the kind moment in catholic church was the pope John Paul II went and travel around the word taking advantage of moderntransportation like faster airplanes better cars, also appearing on television was one of the biggest hits of history. I able to remember that every time that the Pope was in a new place tomake an appearance the television station reserved a specific time to show the Pope transmission. Another big moment for the catholic church, that I remembered was the big outrage aboutchildren sex crime. Those moments in live that I wont forget.
The invention of television was been one of the kind. When I was about 8 year old, in my house there was one black andwhite television, my grandma bought it she said was so so expensive that we were so lucky because no other families could afforded one. It was funny because my grandma worked all day so shealmost never watched television. In the house there was some competition because of my brother he was a pain in the back do to he was older than me but I like,ays that it wont never comeback.
