Beowulf Essay

After Beowulf arrives at Heorot, he tells stories about himself how he battledtrolls, Killed sea beasts. I believe his account indicate that he is a proud, boastful person. He is so proud about his skills for killingthe monsters. Beowulf becomes a victim of his own pride.


I believe that his so boastful because he tells the story like nobodycan’t do it. He tells the people how he kills the monster by himself with only a knife. He also is so proud about himself, and that proudwas the problem of the story. He believes that he is a Hero. Beowulf is a so proud and also boastful in the history.

Beowulf become avictim of his own pride because in the end he dies for confronts the dragon alone. Beowulf by his pride he ever fought the monster alonehe also tried to kill the Grendel’s mother alone. If he don’t tried to kill Grendel’s mother alone maybe he can kill her. I think thatby his own proud he was a victim.

Beowulf is a hero who is so proud and boastful person who overcome the monsters only with hisskills. Beowulf is conceited character because he also say the story like if nobody can do what he ready did. He also became a victim of hisown pride in many ways. He dies because by his own pride he confront the dragon alone and then he died. Beowulf is so pride character.
