Discharge adapter has NPT threads. Extra long sealed top bronze bearing insures positive shaft alignment and stabilization for extended life. ASTM A48, Class 30 cast iron bowls. Nonmetallic coatings on 7" and larger pumps for maximum efficiency and abrasion resistance. Unleaded silicon brass impellers are made of ASTM B584 C87500. Designed for maximumefficiency with wide range hydraulic coverage. Thrust washer is designed for extra margin of safety against possible momentary upthrust occurring at start-up. Reliable long life rubber bearings. Taper locks accurately machined to insure positive locking of impeller to pump shaft. Suction inlet contoured for smooth flow entrance. Protected by an oversized stainless steel screen to prevent entranceof damaging solids. Ductile iron motor adapter for increased strength and positive motor alignment. Open area permits easy access to pump/motor coupling. Large stainless steel pump and motor coupling is accurately matched for perfect alignment, balance and power transition. Pump shaft of 100,000 PSI high tensile stainless steel provides strength and excellent corrosion resistance. Ground andpolished for smooth bearing surface. All ratings are within the working limits of the motor manufacturer. Pump can be operated continuously without fear of damage to the motor. Powered with Franklin Electric motors.
