How do I get my username and password?
An administration team within Cambridge University Press will create your account using details supplied by your university. When your account is created in the Cambridge LMS you will receive an email containing your username and password. It is veryimportant that we have your correct email address so that you receive this information. This information is also needed so that you can reset your password if you need to.
How do my students get their username and password?
When the student’s account is created in the Cambridge LMS they will receive an email containing their username and password. It is very important that we have the studentscorrect email addresses so that they receive this information. The Cambridge University Press administration team can also provide a list of usernames and passwords for new students to the system if required. Your nominated contact will have this list, so ask them to pass it onto you. If they don’t have the list, please ask them to mail the team on lms.support@cambridge.org to request a list ofusernames and passwords.
What do I have access to?
Your login gives you access to the Cambridge Learning management system (LMS) which contains Touchstone Online content. The LMS also contains reporting and tracking features so that you can see your students’ progress through the Touchstone material, as well as communication tools such as forums, a chat room, calendar, and announcement creator.Touchstone includes a lot of rich media content to add depth to your English language teaching. Please be aware that some screens may need a little time to load depending on your University’s Internet connection and the number of people using it at any given time. A loading message will appear on the screen if this is the case.
How do I get help using Touchstone Online in my teaching?
Youruniversity may arrange for training sessions to guide you through Touchstone and the LMS for the first time. Cambridge University Press will also provide a full Teacher’s Manual and is developing an online teacher training module in the LMS for using all aspects of Touchstone.
How can I give feedback on Touchstone Online?

What should I do if I need technical support?
For help using one of the tools within the Cambridge LMS (such as the blog), first take a look at the Frequently Asked Questions which you can access through the Help link to the top right of the LMS screen. For other technicalqueries, first please contact the person your university has nominated as 1st line support. This could be an ICT technician or perhaps a course coordinator. Your university should be able to tell you who your contact point is. This person will help resolve the issue and can contact Cambridge for assistance if necessary. If you do not have a nominated contact, or do not know who it is, you canemail us for support on the following address: lms.support@cambridge.org
Please ensure you provide as much information about the problem as possible, including what went wrong (with a screenshot if possible), details of the computer (browser such as Internet Explorer or Firefox, operating system such as Windows XP) and when and where it happened (e.g. were you working alone or in a group? Whattime of day? In a computer lab? At home?). Please write your message in English. This will help us help you more quickly.

Which browsers can I use?
The LMS works well with Internet Explorer 7 and Firefox 3.5. You can also use Internet Explorer 8, and Safari 3 and 4 (on a Mac).
The LMS does not work well on Internet Explorer 6; we advise you not to use this browser....
