Observacion De Un Infante

INFANT ASSIGNMENT
L is a 10 months old infant. She is 26.5 inches tall. Her weight is approximately 20 pounds. She can see distant objects and point them.
About her daily routines:
L usuallywakes up at 6 am, then she has bottle. She drinks 7 oz.
L arrives to the day care center at 7 45
L has half bowl of cereal ( the caregiver was giving her cereal when I arrived to the daycare center.)L spends 3 hours at the daycare center.
L takes an afternoon nap, usually after bath at 3 pm. She naps for 2 hours, sometimes 3.
L goes to bed at 8 pm. She doesn’t up during the night.
AboutInfant’s abilities:
Motor Development
L manipulates objects, she throws objects, and she goes after an object.
L explores new objects by putting them first on her mouth.
She crawls around the room. Shecrawls very fast.
She stands up by herself, leaning in a table or the wall. She stands by 1 minute with no leaning in any object.
She climbs by the stairs (crawling).
Perceptual-CognitiveDevelopment
L approached to the teacher that was holding a baby to see them, when the teacher talks to her she smiles.
L was trying to take off her socks. When she saw and object that was a little highon a shelf, she raised her hand to get the object.
L plays with toys that make noise (piano, maracas or rattles)
I noticed that she was trying to get my notebook, so I hide it at my back and Llooked for it.
Speech and Language Development
I heard L babbling, not very clear, not a specific word but she babbles trying to communicate if the teacher talks to her.
L listens to her name and looksat the teacher who is talking to her, but she doesn’t stop what she is doing.
Social Emotional Development
L doesn’t cry when the mother leaves her at the daycare center. When I was observing her(she was being fed) she was staring at me.
She smiles when the teachers talks to her.
L doesn’t interact with other children yet, but she smiles a lot when she sees her mother.
