Octavio Paz
He was born in Mixcoac, D.F., on March 31, 1914. He Dealed his first studies in the city of Mexico and continued them in The United States, France, Japan andHindu, that is to say, in all the places through that he has lived. From his early youth it has done work of literatura. In 1938 he I return to Mexico and contribute to theformation of the diary " The popular one ", of which he was an editor in 1939.
He was one of the most representative figures of the thought and the poetry in Latin America. Hisideological and literary expositions occupy an important place in the literature of the Century XX
In 1945 he move to Paris, and there frequent the circles related to thesurrealistic movement. Between 1962 and 1968 he resided in the India as diplomat.
Octavio Paz has cultivated the test, besides the poetry. Of his poetical work it deserves to rejectthe freedom under word, which assembles poems between 1935 and 1957, and where existencialist predominates over the presence of character.
