Stanford University latex thesis style file (suthesis-2e.sty)

People might be interested in the university sponsored but student maintained wiki for thesis support. I've moved some stuff over there but it would be a good place for students to suggest tricks and tips. (I hope it is open to all Stanford students now.)

This site and style file is in the process of revision due to theimplementation of online submission of theses by Stanford University.

This latex style file allows you to create a dissertation that fulfils the requirments of the Registrar's office (at least as far as style, content is your own problem). However, you should double check against the latest version of the electronic submission regulations (pdf file) or hardcopy submission regulations put out by theRegistrars Office. I've also htmlized the 2009 electronic regulations. Please note that this style file is unofficial though I will make corrections as necessary.

from here, suthesis-2e.sty. You should also get suthesis-example.tex and suthesis-template.tex at the same time. These will always be the most up-to-date versions that I maintain(latest revision is 31-May-2010). I don't particularly like the Title page having almost everything in the same size font but that is what the registrar's office seems to want.
The leland systems usually have a copy in the standard latex search paths. This may be out-of-date.
A latex style file, suthesis-abstract.sty for creating the separate abstract for Proquest. A sample file shows how to use it(you are responsible for the actual text of the abstract). (modified June 2008) (Different method is used for online submission).
The setspace.sty file required by the suthesis style and suthesis-abstract.sty files can be gotten from the ctan archives
