OLIVER TWIST
Oliver twist is nine years old. He is a very poor, orphan boy from England. His mother died when he was born and his fatheris absent since that day so, Oliver doesn´t know anything about them. He lives in a baby farm in a town near London. Baby farms are placeswhere orphan live under the care of men or women paid by local authorities. He is in the care of a woman: Mrs. Mann. He lives in this farmwith very little food and very few comforts very soon. Oliver begins to work under the care of very cruel men. In this place, he gets almost nofood at all and he gets very hungry until one day that he decides to ask for more food. He says: ‘’Please, sir, I want some more’’. Theythink that Oliver is a trouble and decide to get rid of his boy. Mr. Sowerberry takes care of Oliver and puts him to work as a mourner or aperson who cries at children’s funerals.
But Mr. Sowerberry’s wife doesn’t like Oliver at all and she spanks him very often. Oliver decidesto run away to go to London.
