there are many controversies and debates to how baseball started, softball running games and
rounders seem to have taken shape fromprimitive type of community games. a few historical sources
poit that in that year 1700, Thomas Wilson who was considered a conformist leader in England
condemned the game of baseball. it is hard totell when baseball was created or played it has grown
since then. it is composed of a national league and American league, there's an all star game, and a
home run derby also the world seriesplayed by the best two teams. baseball is also a sport that has
overcome many things such as segregation, terrorist attacks, and age of steroids. some of baseball 's
positive and negative effects.baseball is played between two teams, each composed of nine players, that take turns playing
offense ( batting )or defense ( fielding). a pair of turns, one at bat and one on the field make aninning. a
a game consists of nine innings. the visiting team bats on top or first half of every inning. the goal is to
score more runs throughout nine innings than the opposite team. a run is when aplayer runs around the
3 bases and makes it to home plate. a player bats at home plate and must proceed to first, second thirdc
base and home to be considered a run. extra innings is any inningpast the ninth inning and there is no ties so it must go on until a team is defeated. there are three basic tools to baseball, ball, bat and glove.
