Damon is head over heels in love withElena, and he doesn’t think he deserves her. Still, we couldn’t help but notice, it was Damon—NOT Stefan—who staked a vamp and saved Elena’s life last week. It was also Damon who saved the necklacethat protectsElena. What a gentleman!
Perhaps Stefan and Elena are meant to be together forever, but Damon’s recent actions make him seem pretty Elena-worthy himself. In fact, Elena was vervain-free around Damon andhe didn’t even take advantage of it!
Who deserves Elena’s love the most—Stefan or Damon? Let us know which Salvatore you find more worthy and why!

Elena and Damon’s rocky friendship has always gone a little something like this: Damon messes up.  Elena gets mad.  Eventually, Elena accepts his apology and forgives him.Based on their track record, we were a little surprised when she told Damon: “You have lost me forever.”  Sucks to be him … but, then again, he did try to kill her brother by breaking his neck!
