Analisis of the poem:

On Aging by: Doctor Seuss

The poem On Aging is wrote by Doctor Seuss, he was an American writer and cartoonist most widely knownfor his children's books written under the pen names Dr. Seuss, Theo. LeSieg and, in one case, Rosetta Stone.He published over 60 children's books, which wereoften characterized by imaginative characters, rhyme, and frequent use of trisyllabic meter. His most celebrated books include the bestselling Green Eggs and Ham,The Cat in the Hat, One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish, Horton Hears a Who!, and How the Grinch Stole Christmas!. Numerous adaptations of his work have beencreated, including eleven television specials, three feature films, and a Broadway musical.

This poem is a sonnet about how he fell and have when it gettouched by the golden years that is when he get old, and he explain how will be the changes that a he had when the golden years touched him. He describe how hechanged and he says that it had changed his see about her memory, his ability of hear and a lot of different changes when the years come and at the last line hesaid that the golden years can kiss his ass, and it can be that he said that he hated the golden years.

This poem had been wrote on 1957, and is write becausehe is getting older and speaking about the changes that he had have .

It had no places described on the poem, because is a sonnet were he speak of the goldenyears but in any part they described or say any place.

The author is writing this poem because he fell that he is getting older and he doesn’t like it
