PaperPort 11, Point Release 1 Addendum
This release works under Microsoft Vista. The following addendum covers modifications made because of this. The remaining text in this fileand the product documentation is not changed, so please read this section carefully.
· Support for Microsoft Windows Vista has been added.
· The printers PaperPort Color Image and PaperPort B&Whave been removed. A new Vista-compliant PaperPort Image Printer is installed.
· Support for creating PaperPort Self-Viewing (*.exe) and PaperPort Browser-Viewable (*.htm) format files have beendiscontinued. Use PDF, MAX or other file formats instead.
· PaperPort MiniViewer has been removed.
· The links in this release were tested with Vista-compatible applications only. When running underVista, links to non-compliant applications cannot be guaranteed to work correctly.
System requirements
To install and run PaperPort 11, your Windows-compatible PC must meet or exceed the followingrequirements:
· A computer with an Intel® Pentium® or higher processor
· Microsoft Windows® 2000 SP4 or above, Windows XP SP2 or above, Windows Vista
· Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 or above
· 128MBof memory (RAM), 256MB recommended
· 300MB of free hard disk space for application files plus 5MB working space during installation
· SVGA monitor with 256 colors, but preferably 16-bit color(called High Color in Windows 2000 and Medium Color in XP and Vista) and 800 x 600 pixel resolution
· Windows-compatible pointing device
· CD-ROM drive for installation
