PARENTS INVOLVEMENT IN THE STUDENT’S LEARNING
It is important that parents get involved in their children’s English learning. It brings not only motivation to improve the performance of thechild but also a closer communication with parents.
Parent involvement in children’s education is crucial. Parents must be aware that learning requires more than the school or a teacher. The affairfor kids is not only to get good marks and grades but also competencies to confront situations inside and outside the classroom. There are many fields of English learning in classroom where parentscan be involved. For example, the idea that learners bring the real life, world and experience within a dialog prepared and acted to their parents, it will accomplish the task to transmit the liking ofspeaking. When they realize they can speak in English in public, even better, in front of their parents, they will succeed in English. There are many other activities with parents that can accompanythe students’ English learning performance. So when parents are involved in English classes, children have more positive attitudes and can do better Learning.
As we can realize this support fromparents to increase their children’s achievement is a kind of motivation. Parents tend to motivate their children celebrating their achievements, focusing strengths, encouraging talents and showingenthusiasm for their interests. Therefore, creative activities in which parents participate with their kids would help motivation.
