The tale begins when Goku and bulsa first meet. Goku is persuaded to help Bulma in her quest to find the seven dragon balls. Withthese, she hopes to call up the magic dragon, Shenlong, and be granted one wish, to find her prince charming.
The two set off on their fateful journey, and on the way meet kamesennin, who gives Goku thekinto cloud. They also run into the bad guys Yamcha and Pilaf. Eventually, they manage to collect all seven dragon balls, but lose them to pilaf, whose wish is for wold domination. Oolong, the pig-likecharacter, has other ideas, and makes a wish to shenlong before pilaf can get a word in. And what he wishes for is nothing but “A pair of panties worn by some cute girl…”
His wish is shenlong’scommand, and oolong gets exactly what he asks for. In an instant, a single pair of panties drifts down from the sky. This is the very first wish that shenlong grants in dragon ball.
As the storyprofresses , Goku’s opponent get meaner and tougher ad the fight scenes become increasingly dramatic. Once the dragon balls have granted a wish, they turn to stone, are scattered by the four winds, and do notregain their magical powers for an entire year. So Goku decides to take up training under kamesennin, hoping it will help him track down the dragon balls, once again. His fellow student is krillin ,who will soon become Goku’s closest friend.
The world is still at peace, but this shift in the story is probably what sets the tone for later events, where the lead characters undergo rigoroustraining in order to defeat ever stronger enemies. Krillin and Goky user their newly acquired talents to participate in the tenkaichi tournament, where they meet the first of their real enemies The redribbon army.
It’s a tough challenge, but Goku eventually destroys the army and emerges victorious. Tenshinhan and Chaozu enter the 22nd tournament, the second tournament goku appears in. It’s folloging...
