Smee:
Jackson explains why he didn’t want to play hide and seek with more people in Christmas, it was because the last time he played something strange happened; He played hide and seek in the darkin an old big house and someone explained him that a girl broke her neck playing “Smee” in that house. He was having dinner with tweleve people he knew their names, but he didn’t know the name ofone girl. After that, they started playing “Smee” . First, someone “got confused” and thought that there were thirteen people playing the game. Later, someone else said that thought that he had touchedsomeone’s hand, but when he turned the lights on, he didn’t see anybody. At first Jackson didn’t belive them, but when he said “Smee” and there was no answer, he thought he had found Smee, and he satbeside him/her. He asked his/her name and she answered she was Brenda Ford. He thought she was the girl who he didn’t know the name, but when other people arrived, they said that they had found Smeeand they where waiting for him. Brenda disapeared and he got confused when a girl explained him that she was Smee, and when he asked who was brenda Ford, people said that was the girl who broke herneck playing Smee.
The judge’s house:
John Moore wanted to live in a quiet Little place because he needed to study for an important exam, so he went to Benchurch. There, he rent a lonely house whichpeople said that there were ghosts. Mrs dempster didn’t belive that stories, and she helped John with the house. Mrs Wood din’t want that John stayed in that house. When he was working, he listened thenoise of the rats and a rat appeared and sat on the oak judge’s chair , he trew him a lot of books and dissapeared, but he couldn’t see where. The next day the rat appeared again and he decided tomake a trap, he trew the biblie to him and he saw the rat entered in a hole in a picture.
