RESUMEN
DIOFANTO DE ALEJANDRÍAEl período que va del año 250 al 350 d.C. se suele considerar como la Edad de Plata de la matemática griega. La vida de Diofanto de Alejandría se desarrolla a comienzos de este período.
El Matemático Alejandrino debe su renombre a su obra Aithmetica En esta obra realiza sus estudios de ecuaciones con variables que tienen un valor racional (ecuaciones Diofánticas). Se llama ecuación Diofántica acualquier ecuación algebraica, generalmente de varias variables, planteada sobre el conjunto de los números enteros  o los números naturales; es decir, se trata de ecuaciones cuyas soluciones son números enteros.

Abstract:
The period that goes of the year 250 at the 350 D.C. is usuallyconsidered as the Age of Silver of the Greek mathematics. The life of Diofanto of Alexandria is developed at the beginning of this period.
The mathematician Alejandrino owes his fame to his work Aithmetica In this work he carries out his studies of equations with variables that have a rational value.
(Equations Diofánticas) although it is not a work of theoretical character but a collection of problems.She calls himself equation diofántica to any algebraic equation, generally of several variables, outlined on the group of the whole numbers or the natural numbers; that is to say, it is equations whose solutions are whole numbers

His equation has infinite solutions in the real numbers. As general rule, however, the equations that they appear in the problemshave restrictions that they help us to limit us to a small number of cases and even to an only solution
Important it was also their contribution in the field of the notation; although the symbols used by Diofanto are not as we conceive them at the moment, did it introduce important novelties like the employment of an unique symbol for the unknown variable (στ) and for the subtraction, although itconserved the abbreviations for the powers of the incognito ((δς for the square δδς for the double of the square χς for the cube δχς for the fifth power, etc.).

INTRODUCCION


En el presente trabajo mostramos un artículo de gran relevancia para nuestra formación como futuros docentes el cualtiene como nombre Diofanto y el álgebra allí observamos la vida de Diofanto y las aportaciones hechas a el álgebra este artículo es de imprescindible importancia para los educandos porque nos muestra los principios fundamentales en la conocimiento matemático que es allí donde encontraremos su esencia, también observamos sus obras destacadas como son aritmética, que constaba de trece libros de los quesólo se han hallado seis, es así que a través de este articulo aplicamos conceptos sobre la epistemología de las matemáticas.
























RESUMEN HISTORICO

Diofanto De Alejandría

No se tiene certeza del periodo en que vivió, pero se estima que pudo ser (325-409 d.C.), matemático griego. Es considerado "el padre del álgebra".

(Siglo III) Matemáticogriego. Sus escritos contribuyeron de forma notable al perfeccionamiento de la notación algebraica y al desarrollo de los conocimientos del álgebra de su época. Mediante artificios de cálculo supo dar soluciones particulares a numerosos problemas, y estableció las bases para un posterior desarrollo de importantes cuestiones matemáticas.
Nada sabemos acerca de la patria de este matemático griego...
