2. Hardware Setup

1. Login to Software

To Logininto the software, specify The Correct User Name and The Password (Default User name is pegasus and password is pongee) and then Press on the Login Button. You will be logged on to the next screen if the user name and password are entered correctly. Failing which one will not be able to enter the software. The screen shall be displayed as follows,

2.1Reader Address
Clicking on this will openthe Reader Add form from which the user can enter the details regarding the T7 reader and how it is connected to the computer.

   

ADD New - To add the New Reader Modify – To modify the details of the existing Reader. Delete – To delete the selected Reader. Cancel - To close the form.

Adding New Reader

   

Select the option through which the T7 reader is selected. Enterappropriate Machine Name, Machine Id for the Reader. Enter the comport No if it is connected through serial Port and keep the Baud rate of the comport as 38400. Enter the IP Address if connected through Network.

NOTE: Make sure the Reader is connected and switched on before saving the Reader Address.   Just save the Information directly if you are using the USB option. Save – Saves the T7Reader Information after communicating with the device.

2.2 Finger print Reader:Clicking on the Finger Print Reader will open the Main Finger Print Reader Form from which the user can communicate and download the data. T7 Finger Print: Under Finger Print menu option Click on T7 option, Followings form will appear:-



Machine Name:- Select the Machine Name First to connect to the T7 readerfrom which the data has to be downloaded.

Selecting this will automatically update other connection settings .  Click on Open to open the communication. The management Group frame buttons will be visible to the user to start downloading the data.

Network Device:- If more than one reader is connected through the network then select this option to download the data from all the readers atonce. - Download All Data:- used to download the punches from the machine connected with TCP /IP.

Log Data management: - used to download the punches from the machine connected with serial. Enroll data management: - Used to enroll the user with T7 machine. System Info Management:-used to know the machine information like as device no, device date enable / disable device etc. Get Serial No:- used to know the serial number and product code of the machine.  Set User Info:- is used to set the user info on the T7 reader.  Read card Number:- is used to read the card number from the T7 machine. Import text File:- used to import punches through text file.

Log Data Management:- This button is used to download the data from the reader,

1. Now click on Log Data Management. 2.Manage Log Data form will open.

3. Clicking on the “Download Data” button will download new data from the reader only if the “Read Mark” is checked. 4. If the “Read Mark” option is checked then only the new data will be downloaded. By default this option will be checked. 5. Clicking on the “Download All Data” button will download all the data present in the reader irrespective of the “Read Mark”...
