I would like to take this opportunity to offer a formal recommendation for Gregorio Aznerez. I am the Bulk Operations Manager at East Coast Terminal Co. in Savannah Ga. USA and mentored Gregorio for the first quarter of 2010. Gregorio worked in many exciting and challenging roles while employed here in Savannah. Greg came to East Coast Terminal inthe first week of January and was placed in the Wood chip Receiving tower where he quickly learned the first stage of our system. He learned the suppliers, the mechanism for truck unloading, and protocol for inventory control very quickly. Soon Greg was placed in the IMS Quality Control Lab and trained sampling wood chips from trucks as well as vessel loading. With Greg’s initiative and selfmotivation I invited him to audit our sampling procedure and he found that basis fundamental statistics we could report more accurately and effectively. This inspiration to “think outside the box” showed me and other managers at ECT that Greg was truly engaged in his work. Greg worked 40-50 hours per week and often asked if there was any work he could complete on the weekends. He took portions of hisdaily work home with him to analyze and audit and reported his findings to me each and every morning when he arrived. We would tour the facility on a daily basis and he raised questions as to why an operation was carried out in a certain way or another and normally generated a more efficient way or process. Greg gained great respect from all other employees and especially or office staff. Hispoise and calm nature comforts those in his surroundings and sheds light on his upbringing. I believe Greg exhibits many of the qualities that are essential to succeed in business today and that all he pursues will become a success. I can’t thank him enough for helping me develop new and better ways of running parts of our business here at East Coast Terminal Co.” Michael Schubert Bulk Operations EastCoast Terminal Company P. O.
