¿ Pena de muerte en Puerto Rico solucion o problema?

The death penalty is a very strong topic, because you can go different ways, there are many beliefs and ideas that can actually change yourcurrent state of mind of the death penalty.

I believe that the death penalty won’t help in the current problem of crimes in Puerto Rico. Why? I think that if I was a criminal I would prefer the deathpenalty rather than a lifetime in prison, don’t you think? It’s the best way to chicken out from a problem. In prison the criminal would suffer a lot more than the Death penalty; in the deathpenalty the people who suffer are the family members of the criminal.

Today’s date there is currently 139 countries that have the death penalty, a record number low. The year 2011 there were recorded676 executions world wide and half were in Iran (276). All this excluding china, they execute thousands a year. The funny part is that out the 139 countries that have the death 0 are in Europe. Theold world, I believe are way more advanced than the new world.

What they don’t tell us is how many of those executions the criminal was innocent. Look at case of Stanley “Tookie” Williams. Now theBIG Question, Who decides death row? The Jude, the Jury? Who are they to decide if you live or die? Who are they to judge? I believe the only one who decides when you die is God, and at least heis going to let me know when.

Now let’s look at the great U.S.A. “Land of the free and home of the brave” where they executed 37 free and brave people in 2008. I don’t believe that you are going toteach people by giving an illusion that killing is wrong by killing. If the U.S.A. is so advanced in so many ways how they are still using the death penalty, do they really believe that it willlower crime? How stupid you got to be to think that that’s going to work.
I believe life is sacred, is a gift that we have been given, to enjoy life, make the most out of it, and if someone chooses...
