Setting
The first setting of the book is Camp-Half Blood. This camp is only for half bloods, halfhumans, half gods. Theres a tree that is protecting the camp from monsters and bad weather. The name of the tree is called Thalia, Thalia was a young hero that saved and sacrified her life for theyrefriends. Now this tree has been poisoned and Camp-Half Blood is in danger. Another setting of the book is The Sea of Monsters, this is the sea where all monster and deadly sea creatures live and islocated in The Bermuda Triangle.





Main Character

The main character is Percy Jackson, son of Poseidon. He is a friendly, kind andbrave 12 year old. On this book he has to save his best friend, Grover from a Cyclops. Being son of Poseidon he can breathe under water, talk to sea animals and manipulate the sea. On this quest he hasto be more brave than ever, facing dangerous monsters to find a golden fleece and saving his best friend , Grover.



The story begins, withPercy having a nightmare about Grover. In this dream he is fallowed by a monster trying to eat him but after that, Percy awakes. It was Percy’s last day at school, and he has to pick up his friend,Tyson. Tyson is a homeless boy who lives in the subways of New York, and the school takes him as a school proyect to investigate him in every move and reaction. When everything seems perfect at school, abunch of bullies aproach Percy and Tyson, but theyre not ordinary bullies. They are giant cannibals that try to attack him, but his friend Annabeth comes to the rescue and saves them. After thatproblema they try to go to camp Half-Blood but when they arrive they found out that the the tree that protects the camp has been poisoned by an uknown enemy. Trying to find a solution to save camp also...
