Introducción.
El presente ensayo me permitirá realizar un recuento del desarrollo y características de los principales movimientos populistas registrados en América Latina, principalmente en Argentina. La irrupción del populismo en diferentes regiones y lugares, en épocas similares muestran lacaracterística, en cierto modo, adaptativa y ecléctica, de responder a determinadas condiciones comunes de atraso y desigualdad social y económica que traspasan las barreras del tiempo y el espacio. Por ello, el populismo tenía bastantes motivos para resurgir, con variantes obviamente, en los países del llamado "Tercer Mundo", siendo América Latina dio quien dio primer paso.
