b) Summary
Kate, she is reporter and working on The Daily News in London, she met Max in his earlierwork, Max was the editor of Manchester Evening News and was the one who gave him his first job to Kate. And who at one point Max saved Kate's life which had become involved with dangerous people towrite a story about crime. One day Max was found dead in the city of Amsterdam, his death was a result of 20 stab wounds on his body, then Kate didn’t accept the death of Max, and even the feeling thathe owed something for save his life, she asks the editor of Daily News, Dave Balzano go to Amsterdam to write the story of the murder of Max and find on murdered.
Once in Amsterdam Kate meets withElly, her friend and policewoman, whoever supports and assistance to Kate, determinate to start she choose to search information from those close to Max, it meets with several people, including knownJos van Essen a former footballer, with a criminal named Bert, and with the very Tom, brother of Max.
Among them gathers enough information to believe that the police say are wrong to say he had foundthe murderer of Max. After that, Kate receives a strange note from an anonymous proffered find the track on the bet of the game of Leiden against Rotterdam. One night while Kate walked down thestreet a strange car pulled up beside her and tried to force him to enter the car, thanks to its excellent karate chops Kate managed to escape and make him flee.
