During the last years many Companies have had to develop new marketing strategies to increase sales and customer loyalty. In this processhas been necessary know costumer needs and focus on giving solution. Also Companies that sell personal care products have been more competitive than before, because the Customer used to buy a singleproduct brand, but now it finds a lot of possibilities to choose.
The objective of this article is to identify which categories of personal care products prefer the Colombians considering theirmarketing strategies. Categories studied are Skin care, Tooth care, Makeup and Hair care.
SURVEY RESULTS
According to the survey results, 42% of people prefer the marketing strategies of hair Careproducts, 33% skin care products, 17% Makeup and only 8% chose tooth care products.
Was also evaluated in the survey the most important aspect to choose the brand of personal care products.For 70% is the quality, 15% price, 10% promotions and 5% others. The survey showed that the category that never buys the customer considering their marketing was Makeup.
Finally were asked ofrespondents “You think that Colombia should improve marketing strategies for the consumer fell more satisfied when buying personal care products”. Most people answered that Colombia has the best publicitybecause there are TV commercials very creative and funny. Too the people find many events that promote the purchase of different brands. For example, at universities and supermarkets.
Thistopic and the survey results are very important because the word is in constantly changing. The Companies have to identify the needs that consumers and then improve their sales strategies every day. Thetechnology is a fundamental tool in this process because the people use all the time the computer to communicate.
