A personal approach on writing experience

The work you are now reading, has the aim of expose some views that appeared around the progressive learning-production process of writing, that Iconsidered to be critical for the task of developing the writing competence of an individual, not to try to show what has to be done –or what has not to be done- to reach a established standard ofquality in such activity, but to set down some personal experiences of it –in this case, mine- in order to give a reference of a process that is susceptible of being experienced by a wide rank of people,but that is obviously experienced based on different backgrounds and under different contexts, making this process unique in relation with the respective person. And after this exposition, I will try totake some conclusion that could let me have a look of the position in which I find myself in relation to the time I have being practicing the writing exercise.
The subject matter on which thiswork is based, are the different experiences associated to the production of some pieces of writing, such as short stories, personal statements, essays and other personal works that I have done,although –because of matter of space- I have included, as examples, only some of the works of the last five years.

By the time in which I was doing my first year of college, writing was for me justone of the tasks through which I had to be evaluated, so until that moment the way I preferred to express the ideas I considered to be expressed –which were not so complex- was the oral expression. Butwhen, in one hand, my ideas and thoughts became more complex, and in the other, the academic requirements for every subject became more difficult, I realized that I had to learn and practice mywriting, not only as an academic tool, but also as a mean of set down my thoughts and feelings, in order to pass part of myself to an objective timeless space: physically, the piece of writing itself....
