OBJECTIVE:
The objective of this research is to know about petroleum, including its composition, uses, some examples of things we have because of it and conclusions.INFORMATION:
* Composition:
Petroleum is essentially a mixture of hydrocarbons particularly alkanes, cycloalkanes and aromatic hydrocarbons. Apart from hydrocarbons it may also containcompounds containing oxygen and nitrogen. But the exact composition of crude oil varies from one place to another and from one oil field to another.

* Uses:
Petroleumproducts are used widely in our everyday lives. They are used to power automobiles produce containers and to keep us warm. All plastic is made from petroleum and plastic is used almosteverywhere.

Vinegar
Mouthwash
Oven bags
Reclining chairs
Erasers
Radio cases
Steering wheels
Wet suits
Disposable diapers
Foodwraps

CONCLUSIONS:
Petroleum is a necessity, although other alternatives exist, petroleum is the only one that totally works.
We can notice the high prices of petroleum, but itretains a key advantage because the price of oil remains low compared to forms of energy with lower environmental impacts, like wind and solar power. Unlike hydrogen or evennatural gas, oil is easily transportable and there is a vast infrastructure in place to support its use.
Therefore, benefits of petroleum have brought enumerable benefits to humancivilization: quality of life, dynamic prosperity and a source of income to energy traders.
