Summary:
Wladek is a Jewish pianist who lives with his family and parents, and it was employed at a radio. Everything changes when it begins the second Worldwar and they have to flee of a place to be able to survive, nevertheless it is separated from his family and between so many death and violence manages to survive works as slavelater it had the help of friends and of the singer Janina and his husband. This way also his fan Dorota and her husband.
He is kept hidden in a department at the time the rebels beginto kill German military men. While he’s hidden looks at many crimes caused by the Nazi. Wladek falls down very sick in the middle of the war and almost at the edge of the death.
