Schedule: Tuesdays, 1:00 to 3:00 / 3:00 to 5:00 pm. 16 sessions, each session 2 hours long

Course Rationale:

The ever growinginternationalization of the different economies force organizations to stay updated and face an intense competitive environment. One of the factors that affect directly the competitiveness of firms is the ability of their managers, directors and CEO's to thrive in the International arena, where English is the dominant language.

An student of International Business Administration should be proficient, notonly in everyday English, but also in the technical English of their field. This will be useful in their careers to both successfully enter foreign markets and successfully face foreign competition in their domestic markets.

Course Objectives

To provide the student with the technical jargon of the disciplinary field they study in a foreign language, English.
To refreshconcepts that the student already knows and manage.
To help the student become acquainted with the expressions, idioms and other aspects of everyday Business English.
To practice the listening, speaking, reading and writing skills in English a technical context.
