BUSINESS PLAN FOR SPAIN





Introduction


Current offer of Vivastar is more than suitable, both in product type, range, and quality. Particularly, the clip tray format could become ahit in the market. This will be used as a mayor tool to introduce Vivastar in Spain and to quickly capture a significant market share. Demand creation plan, distribution channel and marketing planwill be deployed according to the Company´s strategy to be price leader.

However, current prices, payment terms and freight conditions are not in line with the Spanish market, and will need to bereviewed.

The goal is to sell around 1.5 million units in the second half of the year, ending up with a market share of 10% for that period. This is an agressive goal that will require some marketinginvestment, or MDF around 10% of sales.

Distribution Channel


It is believed that the best distribution channel would be:

• 4distributors: General, Mac, Media and Local (Canary Islands)
• 10 top retailers: El Corte Inglés, FNAC, Alcampo, Pryca, Continente, Jump, DataLogic, EI System, Vobis, ADL.
• 2 top mail order: Misco, centroMail.

Distributors and Retailers expect to have rebates for sales volumen, being 2% a suitable figure.



Channel Marketing


It is basic to gain inmediately mind share at disty level, ascompetition is high. Same can be said for reseller channel. I propose the following actions in the calendar:
