He was medicated for this condition and his symptoms increased. He grew up normally. He is still married with his wife Beverly Sutphin while she’s in jail. He is living with his two sons.Mr. Sutphin was a loving dentist husband, but by this time he had been absent from his office, didn’t socialize and didn’t perform his family’s duties for the past two years because of his psychotic symptoms. The client had noted later episodes ofhallucinations, psychotic symptomatology, poor attention to his duties and social relationships. Although his wife’s arrest came as surprise To Eugene and his kids, he was terribly affected when he recognized that the woman who was his wife was like the newspapers called her “Serial Mom”.
The client stated that his symptoms included being isolated, delusions and sleeping problems all thetime and he rated his mood about a 2 on a 10 point scale. Mr. Sutphin said that he didn’t enjoy anything and had little appetite; he also noted a weigh loss of 20 pounds initially, now stabilized. The client reported guilt about being an inadequate husband who failed in helping his wife, expectations of being punished for no reason, harsh self-criticism, and problems to take decisions. The...
