1. INTRODUCTION

This work instruction provides the steps required to line up the fire main from the fire water pumps. It provides the steps required to placing the Jockey Fire Pumps in order of Duty and Stand by, and the stepsrequired to isolate each fire pump.


Before any work starts on this work instruction, all maintenance work will be completed, and signed off by the appropriate departments and handover certificates have been exchanged where appropriate.


Ensure that all safety and fire fighting equipment is in situ and in good working order before this work instruction commences.


Compliance with thiswork instruction may be audited without notice, to assure that management, shareholders and external agencies remain confident in Dragon LNG’s policies and practices.


This work instruction is intended for use by trained operators who have been assessed, certified and deemed competent in all safety / work management requirements and in the specific use of this work instruction.
