Warning
The ECU-02 can be easily damaged if "Battery Negative" B- is introduced to terminal 9,10,11,12,
13 and 14 of the CT Current Transformer input terminals on theECU-11/22 Relay board.
When modernizing and installing the ECU-11/22 Relay board in older machines, be aware that
it was the custom years back to wire one or all of one of the legs of the CT to ground. If you do this
with the New ECU-11/22 Relay Board you introduce B- and 120Vac into the computer terminal
relay board burning the input diodes and the fuses of the ECU, making the ECU-02useless.
Remember that most generators have the Neutral of the generator connected together to the
Battery Negative on the chassis. This setup feed 120 volts AC to the ECU-02 through the grounded
Terminals of the CT. SO MAKE SURE THE CT's ARE NOT GROUNDED and individualy wired to
the terminals 9 thought 14.
Therefore look for grounded CT terminal and rewire the old CT's properlyinto the new ECU system
on terminal 9 though 14 on the ECU-11/22 relay board.
Also if you like to monitor the CT's with a older style Analog meter you have to use 2 CT's one
independent CT for the ECU and another for the Analog Meter.
