Definition
Therapeutic food into paste form, intended for severely malnourished patients during the rehabilitation
phase (phase 2) in therapeutic feeding centres or at home (outpatienttreatment).
The Plumpy'nut nutritional specifications are close to the ones of the F100 therapeutic milk, except
that Plumpy'nut contains iron.

Description
The Plumpy'nut looks like a paste, nonsoluble in water, ready to eat.
It does not contain water and is therefore resistant to any bacterial contamination, even once the
sachet is open.
