PODER DE DIOS

1. AMARAS A DIOS SOBRE TODAS LAS COSAS
No habrá para ti otros dioses delante de mí.
No te harás escultura ni imagen alguna ni de lo que hay arriba en los
cielos, ni de lo que hay abajo en la tierra, ni de lo que hay en las aguas
debajo de la tierra. No te postrarás ante ellas ni les darás culto, porque yo Yahveh, tu
Dios, soy un Dios celoso, que castigo la iniquidad de los padres en loshijos
hasta la tercera y cuarta generación de los que me odian, y tengo misericordia por millares con los que me aman y guardan mis mandamientos.
2. NO TOMARAS EL NOMBRE DE DIOS EN VANO
No tomarás en falso el nombre de Yahveh, tu Dios; porque Yahveh
no dejará sin castigo a quien toma su nombre en falso.
3. SANTIFICARA LAS FIESTAS
Recuerda el día del sábado para santificarlo. Seis díastrabajarás y harás todos tus trabajos,
pero el día séptimo es día de descanso para Yahveh, tu Dios. No harás ningún trabajo, ni tú, ni tu hijo, ni tu hija, ni tu siervo, ni tu sierva, ni tu ganado, ni el forastero que habita en tu ciudad.
Pues en seis días hizo Yahveh el cielo y la tierra, el mar y todo cuanto contienen, y el séptimo descansó; por eso bendijo Yahveh el día del sábado y lo hizosagrado.
4. HONRARA A TU PADRE Y TU MADRE
Honra a tu padre y a tu madre, para que se prolonguen tus días sobre la tierra que Yahveh, tu Dios, te va a dar.
5. NO MATARAS
No matarás.
6. NO COMETERAS ACTOS IMPUROS
No cometerás adulterio.
7. NO ROBARAS
No robarás.
8. NO DIRAS FALSO TESTIMONIO NI MENTIRÁS
No darás testimonio falso contra tu prójimo.
9. NO DESEARA LA MUJER O VARON DE TU PROJIMONo codiciarás la casa de tu prójimo, ni codiciarás la mujer de tu prójimo,
10. NO DESEARAS LO BIENES AJENOS
ni su siervo, ni su sierva, ni su buey, ni su asno, ni nada que sea de tu prójimo.»

CREDO
Creo en Dios, Padre Todopoderoso, Creador del cielo y de la tierra, y en Jesucristo, su único Hijo, nuestro Señor, que fue concebido por el Espíritu Santo, y nació de Santa María Virgen. Padeció debajo del poder de Poncio Pilato. Fue crucificado, muerto y sepultado. Descendió a los infiernos, y al tercer díaresucito de entre los muertos. Subió a los cielos, y está sentado a la diestra de Dios Padre Todopoderoso. Desde allí ha de venir a juzgar a los vivos y a los muertos. Creo en el Espíritu Santo, la Santa Iglesia católica, la comunión de los Santos, el perdón de los pecados, la resurrección de la carne, y la vida perdurable. Amén.

After Jesus left the synagogue, he enteredthe house of Simon. Simon's mother-in-law was afflicted with a severe fever, and they interceded with him about her. He stood over her, rebuked the fever, and it left her. She got up immediately and waited on them. At sunset, all who had people sick with various diseases brought them to him. He laid his hands on each of them and cured them. And demons also came out from many, shouting, "You are theSon of God."

But he rebuked them and did not allow them to speak because they knew that he was the Christ. At daybreak, Jesus left and went to a deserted place. The crowds went looking for him, and when they came to him, they tried to prevent him from leaving them. But he said to them, "To the other towns also I must proclaim the good news of the Kingdom of God, because for this purpose I havebeen sent." And he was preaching in the synagogues of Judea.
