WHAT IS AND WHAT IS THE POSTULANCY
MARIA MADRE BERENICE
PURPOSE: To clarify in prayerful discernment of God's call Community trusts are recognized as potential gifts Godhas given the call and support him in this process, the stage of the applicant has a duration of 6 months to two years.
The root of the term Postulancy postulate comes from the Latin, meaning toask, because at the end of this stage, the candidate asks freely, voluntarily and responsibly continue his training at the novitiate stage.
The applicant is a time of personal growth and communityis the stage which verifies the candidate's ability to progressively assume the duties required for this Consecrated life requires:
Encourage a process of human aging in order to reach aradical option for Christ.
Deepen your Christian life based on their baptismal commitment.
Assess community life and able to be received with others.
Assessment and care of theapostolic charism of the community which will further compromise in the Church and society.
During this stage the applicant or pre novice has the opportunity to get to know but the religious life withits values and demands, so here begins a mutual understanding between the community and the candidate. The approach continues the life of Jesus and Mary in the Annunciation, the gradualassimilation of the spiritual life and the virtues of the Annunciation School will help the candidate to acquire a strong desire to devote herself to God and to assume with responsibility for the life of theAnnunciation.
Postulate stage takes place in a climate of silence, prayer, dialogue, discernment and reflection to help deepen and clarify their calling.
