LET’S PLAY POKER
ABOUT THIS BOOK
No Limit Texas Hold’em is a great game and it seems like it’s everywhere these days. But if you don’t know what’s going on, actually trying to play can be a frustrating experience. There are a lot of good poker books out there but most areaimed at people who already know a little bit or are at such a basic level you’re almost no better off having read them. If you want to get better at poker, there are two things you must do. The first is to keep studying and analyzing the game. Read all you can and discuss hands with better players. The more you learn, the more you’ll realize how much you still don’t know. The second is tocritique your key hands away from the table, thinking about what decision you would make next time and learning from your mistakes so you play better in the future. I make mistakes in every tournament I enter, even the ones I win. By analyzing and learning from these errors, I rarely make the same mistake twice. Most importantly, have fun playing. Now let’s play poker!
