1. BASIC PROPERTIES
POLYTROL FL 344 provides excellent fluid loss control inoilwell cementing applications. POLYTROL FL 344 solves the problems of fluid loss additives that cause a high degree of cement retardation at low temperatures. The non-retarding properties of POLYTROL FL 344 are also ideal in light cement compositions that often have extended thickening times. POLYTROL FL 344 performs very well at high temperatures of up to 400 °F. Further more, POLYTROL FL 344 isextremely salt tolerant, which makes it effective with up to 18% salt in a variety of different cement compositions. Chemistry: POLYTROL FL 344 is a tailored synthetic polymer. The product is non-hazardous (see MSDS prior to use). Dosage: In most cements, the common dosage of POLYTROL FL 344 is less than 1% by weight of cement.

2. BASIC PERFORMANCE DATA The Fluid Loss Additive that provides improved cement setting

POLYTROL FL 344 offers a delayed gel strength development. It permits the cement column to transmit virtually the full hydrostatic pressure to the borehole wall. Thus, the influx of formation water or gas is prevented. At the end of thedelayed gel time period, the cement sets rapidly and the borehole wall is sealed tightly within short time.
