Portfolio de trabajo de jewelry
Every year in my family we exchange presents between us for Christmas. Presents must be related to what that person likes. This year I will have to present a gift to my sister of 20 years old and as she loves to be original so I was planning to buy some piece of jewelry very glitzy at the mall but when I got there I discovered that there weren’t any jazzy rings or showy bracelets so Idecided to create one myself. I will make a ring very glitzy that calls the attention maybe because it would be big and strange, with different types of metal. It will have a big size.
Design brief: I will create a jazzy ring with metal to give my big sister onChristmas Eve.
RESEARCH PLAN:
PEOPLE: I will talk to my sister`s best friend soli malaret and ask her for her opinion of how a ring must be for my sister. I will also talk to my mother`s boy friend arturo garcia rosa who has worked making jewelry as a hobby for a long time. I will take a look over my sister`s hobbies, tastes etc. to plan the best ring for her.
PLACES: I will go to florida streetto take photographs of how I don’t want my work to look like and how yes I want it to look. In my trip to uruguay I will look for shops of jewelry in the streets and in the malls and also take many photos. I will look in the internet images os jewelry other people had uploaded there.
PRODUCTS: I will look in my sister`s box of jewelry where she has many rings, bracelets etc. and see whether whatkind of jewelry she uses or she would have wanted to use. And also look information on the internet.
PROCESSES: I will review the investigation I already have of the last piece of jewelry I did and also look the teckniques again to be sure what I will liketo do in this piece.
RESEARCH:
* PEOPLE: I talked to my sister`s best friend who has a avery similar personality. I also talkmymother`s boyfriend who worked with jewelry for a long time when it was young before starting with hospitality. I also talked to someone who make rings and bracelets at the florida street.
Interview:
Me: how would you describe my sister in three words?
Soli Malaret: hippie, creative, confident
Me: what type of ring do you think she would use?
Soli Malaret: I think she migth like a ring that calls theattention, something big and strange.
Me: you have make many rings for your friends and family, what do you think I should take acount about my sister after making her a ring?
Arturo Garcia Rosa: I think you have to see what kind of jewelry she uses, in case of your sister she uses a lot of strange things and ap to then start with the ring
* PRODUCTS: I watched my sister`s box of jewelryand saw where I was heading. I also looked for photos of the jewelry simple and jazzy. I think I have identified very well a simple ring and a showy one. In the internet I have found an interesting paragraph about jewelry.
