* The company success lies on its ability to offer value to customers. Marketing’s task is to communicate that value proposition.
Pick a product and a separate service (one of each) that you like and believe has a strong value proposition:
1. Why do you think the product and the service offer value?
Product: Shampoo Garnier
This product offer value because offer the perfect quality andvariety. For example, this product offers a variety of 12 different kinds of shampoo, and the customer, especially woman, always need to have many options to choose from.
On the other hand, this product offer information via internet about the how to use this product and complementary products for the hair care and other needs.
Also offers men's care products.
Offer a contact number and acontact mail for support to the customer.
The price is a medium price but the brand have some prestige.

Service: Quantas
This service offer a good value to me because it meets the minimum requirements that a customer wants during a flight, that is comfort, good service, good food, entertainment, comfort.
Offer special prices and through the website offers associated services such as,accommodation, rent a car, activities to develop in the place of destination and so on.

2. How is the value of the product and the service communicated?

To have a consultant for to ask about my best treatment for my specific hair.
To be a membership for to buy sales or discounts.
Everything could be communicated by email or post mail.

Service: Quantas
To receive special offers direct to my email.
To receive some gifts , like useful merchandise like pencils,notebooks, calendars (office articles).
To receive a simple attention in my birthday or special discount.

* Define Societal Marketing.
What approach could be taken by Australian breweries to practise Societal Marketing?
Societal Marketing is how the Marketing impact in the environment, in good or bad way.
The companies likeAustralian breweries needs to be concerned about the ethics and regulations seriously, because many of them don’t do that in serious way. Is important to consider the laws.
The alcohol is associated with many social ills, some companies incorporated “Responsible Marketing Guidelines” .That is about that the promotion of responsible consumption of alcohol is central to the way they market, promote andsell products. The advertising materials strictly needs to be adhere to the laws, standards and voluntary codes that apply in each region and the 'Enjoy Responsibly' logo is displayed on all primary packaging and advertising materials. Responsible consumption and the Enjoy Responsibly program are part of training and induction programs for all new employees. They work in programs and activities topromote a cultural shift in community attitudes to alcohol consumption and mitigate the potential negative impacts of alcohol misuse.
