Sigmund Freud, the famous austrian psychologist, said “I have no concern with any economic criticism of the communist system (but) I am able to recognize that the psychological premises on which thesystems based are an untenable illusion. In abolishing private property we deprive the human love of aggression of one of its instruments, certainly a strong one, though certainly not the strongest;but we have in no way altered the differences in power and influence which are misused by aggressiveness, nor have we altered anything in its nature.” Developing his idea of thinking about that aworld with no private property is an illusion, he is right because it is a concept inherent and inseparable of the human existence. For centuries each man has needed to feel that someone or somethingbelongs him. he wants to feel attachment specially for a physical space to call his home. without this place exists a feeling of lack that is not loaded with the promise of satisfy all basic needs.Even the sovietic model contented in the Constitution of 1936, couldn’t ignore totally the private poverty as it recognized the right to the “personal property” like your toothbrush or your bed forexample, showing that even a committed state with socialism as the USSR refused an idea so extreme as eliminated completely the private poverty circumscribing the common property to the means ofproduction.
On the other hand, capitalism and private property create a sane competition that shouldn’t be confused with be egotistical or selfish; if the economic system is fair and everyone hasopportunities, each one will receive the reward represented in be able to get better goods and services, not like the socialism system that produced a hypothetic and artificial equality that even is notdesirable because the persons need to get differentiations as expression of their individiduality and their right to the free development of the personality.
