There are ongoing plans for this
bicycle path which will enhance
the business opportunities in the
area.

The space between the highrise
buildings is under developed.
Opportunities to inject new uses
in these spaces could boost the
daytime activity in the neighbourhood. Also, the strict grid fromHolma´s architecture is so
repetitive that it is easy to lose
sense of place.

Noisy Roads, New Opportunities?
The lively Pildammsvägen could
become a gateway into Holma. However, the housing initiatives must be
protected from the noise, but still
exposed as a new face for Holma

People Pump!
Gas stations, as unpleasant as they can
be, are apotential lure to outsiders. If
the Gas station is pulled in the Project
Site, and specially designed, connected
to new functions, and opening views
into Holma, there is a curiosity effect
that might make visitors stay for longer
or come back later to explore!

Roadways

There already are many connections between Holma and its
surroundings. However, these
connections must bemore
efficient and easily recognisable.

Park & Stay.
Instead of being a passing place, the
roof of a parking lot can be changed
into a protected zone for new activities,
even if that means raising these parking
buildings by one floor.

The People´s House!
The Folkets Hus is already used and
already dynamic.It only needs a more
interesting placement and better
facilities. This place could become the
main meeting centre for all the
Bottom-Up decisions to be made!

Kroksbäcksparken...?
This park could be easily converted into
a very popular place, if only some new
functions are added to it. From
temporary functions to small kiosks,
cafés or all sorts ofsports or music
facilities could motivate the young
population of Holma to take over it and
truly give it use.
