The Three Major Battles of WWI
The First World War consisted of many distinct battles, some not as important as others. Three battles that made the warmove along or made a big impact on the outcome of the war were The Battle of the Somme, The Battle of Jutland, and The Second Battle of the Marne. The Battle of the Somme didn´t make the war advance butit did cause a lot of casualties and saved some too. The battle of Jutland was the largest and greatest naval battle of WWI, it proved that the Royal Navy couldn´t be competed with for control of theNorth Sea.
