Solution of NaCl

We are going to prepare a solution of 250 mL of sodium (Na) chloride (Cl) .

Material:
We will need:

-Flask -Beaker -Rood-Test tube


-Spoon -Funnel -Distilled Water


-Balance -Sodium-Chlorine

Procedure:
* We need know how many grams of NaCl there are. So first we are going to calculate It.
Na: 23 g/mol
Cl: 35 g/mol
(It depending of the number of “M”. We are going todo it like if we have 1 “M”.)
For example:

1M 1.000Ml 250mL 0.25M
xM 250 mL 1.0002M 1.000Ml 500mL 0.50M
xm 250mL 1.000

· 23g/mol Na · 0.25= 5.75g de Na en 250mL
· 35g/mol Cl · 0.25= 8.75g de Cl en 250mL

* Now, we have the amount of Na and Cl that we need for preparated the solution.

* Below, we take with the spoon exactly 5.75g of Na been helped forthe balance, so we need use them to despite the amount.
Bellow, we do the same with the amount of Cl, with 8.75 g .

* When we have the amount despite, we have to introduce the Na and the Cl inthe beaker. Below, we introduced the distilled water, and we move it with the rood to dissolve the amount. We must dissolve it correctly. Them we pass the solution to the flask of 250 mL helped to thefunnel. We have to do it twice to don´t forget any amount of NaCl in the beaker.

* Now, we have to introduce distilled water in the flask to the mark of 250mL . Them, we cover the flask and weneed shake It.

* Them, when we finished It , we must introduced the solution in the test tube of 250mL. If we can see that there aren´t 250mL of NaCl, we can fill the solution with the trickle...
