Abstract
Sift a granular material is separated according to grain size for which a perforated surface (sieve with a defined light pattern) allows the passage of the finest components andprevents the coarser.
By sifting the material separation and sieving residue. Different fractions defined by the particle size can be obtained. Screening can also be defined as the classification into different particle size fractions by means of screens. The sieve having a square grid and in most cases, models are metallic. Sieving is often neglected in considering the importance of particle shape. The substance or mixture has completely passed after a sieve mesh precisely, a certain degree of comminution. This grade will be able to appointed according to the mesh size sieve. mixed
Mixing is one of the unit operations in the most difficult to subdue a scientific analysis chemical engineering.
So far it has not developed any formula or equation applicable to the calculation of thedegree of completion the mixture, or the speed with which it is performed under certain conditions is verified.
It is sometimes said that only the energy consumption of a mixer provides a true measure of the extent to which completed a mixture, for a defined amount of work is needed to mix the particles of material within its container.
A unit operation can be defined as a process area or acomputer materials, inputs or raw materials are incorporated and a particular function occurs, are basic activities that are part of the process. For example, pulping or debarking in a paper mill or a distillation process of developing chemicals. It would be virtually impossible to study the almost infinite number of chemical processes take out in the industry every day, if there were a point common toall of them. Fortunately, this connection exists. Any process can be designed consisting of a series of physical and chemical operations that in some cases specific process are considered, but in other operations are common and identical for various processes. Generally the process can be decomposed in the following sequence.
Matter: the driving force is equal to the difference in concentrations, pressures ... within the fluid which qe are studing energy: the driving force occurs when there is a temperature difference within the movement: driving force is the difference in speed between two zones of the fluid.
