INTRODUCCION
Knowing an important part of the country's history, as it is, the process of monetarychanges, is a useful tool for understanding the macro-economic processes and investment of our export and import goods.
the currency has been a liaison for operations in Latin American countries topurchase food and other supplies through agreements and trade pacts with developed countries, is through Bank of the Republic that our country legitimizes each one of the transactions made legal andthe appearance and growth to our weak and bifurcated monetary system.
Even before the arrival of Europeans to our American territory, the Indians enriched their coffers through the trade "barter" inorder to supply the goods that had no members of the community.
Finally, this project aims to demonstrate the importance of monetary activity in each economic events, cultural and social aspectsof our country and its impact on changes in bilateral relations in the pursuit of enrichment and productivity of our resources.
